English Wallflower is native to southern Europe and may have been brought to England by Normans in the 11th century. It is a perennial but can be grown as an annual, and the flower colors include red, orange, yellow, pink, and russet. Best grown where summers are not too hot. Prefers lean, well-drained soils.
