Snapdragon is a tender perennial that is treated as an annual in colder climates. This semi-dwarf variety blooms all summer long and has large flowers in shades of pink, purple, red, yellow, and white. Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost date in spring. Use it in old-fashioned gardens, beds and borders, and containers. It is also an excellent cut flower. Bloom time can be extended by removing spent flowers. Snapdragons are pollinated by bumblebees.
