Permanent Native Grass Mix

This grass mix has been approved by the Douglas County Conservation District for its drought tolerant, native warm and cool season grasses that are all adapted to the Western Plain’s soil profile. Suitable for erosion control, reclamation projects and habitat improvement. Feel free to let this tall grass mix grow to its full height without mowing as they will provide plentiful habitat for birds, insects, and mammals alike. Once established this mix will not need supplemental water. Contains Big Bluestem, Indiangrass, Switchgrass, Sideoats Grama, Western Wheatgrass, Blue Grama, Thickspike Wheatgrass, Prairie Sandreed, Green Needlegrass, Slender Wheatgrass, and Streambank Wheatgrass.
