This clump-forming perennial is native to the western U.S. Its tidy mounds produce golden flower clusters that are at home in flower beds as well as wildflower and meadow plantings. Sulphur Flower is quite drought-tolerant, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping in the western U.S. In addition, it is ideal for pollinator conservation as several butterfly species are found in association with it. The leaves will turn bright red in the fall.
