Golden Crownbeard

Golden Crownbeard is also known as Cowpen Daisy. This bright yellow annual is widely distributed and typically found in disturbed soils along roadsides and in open, sunny sites. The silvery green leaves are triangular with toothed margins. Reseeds readily and is excellent for reclamation and pollinator conservation mixtures. The flowers provide nectar to native bees, honey bees and butterflies. Plants are drought tolerant.
