Annual Garden Flower Mixtures

In addition to wildflower mixtures, Applewood Seed Company offers two mixtures containing cultivated flower varieties. These all annual mixtures provide long-lasting, vibrant color throughout the growing season. These mixtures must be reseeded every year and are ideal for residential and commercial landscaping, golf courses, or any area where maximum color and long-blooming displays are desired.

This spectacular annual mix blooms in a wide variety of flower colors, shapes and sizes. Plants are 6-24 inches tall.  Mix contains California Poppy 'Splendid Mix', Chinese Forget-Me-Not 'Firmament', Classic Zinnia, Corn Poppy 'American Legion', Dwarf Lupine 'Pixie Delight', Godetia 'Lilac Blossom', Gypsophila 'Deep Carmine', Love-In-A-Mist 'Miss Jekyll', Mexican Zinnia 'Persian Carpet', Rocky Candytuft 'Empress', Rudbeckia 'Marmalade', Sweet Alyssum 'Carpet of Snow', Viscaria 'Angel Mix' and Zinnia 'Persian Carpet'.
Planting rate = 7-14 lbs./acre, 5 oz./1000 sq. ft.

Annual varieties in this mix have a spreading or mounding growth form which creates an even, 12-inch tall carpet of brilliant flowers in sunny hues. Mix contains California Poppy 'Splendid Mix', Calendula 'Fiesta Gitana', French Marigold 'Sparky Mix', Rocket Candytuft 'Empress', Classic Zinnia, Creeping Zinnia, Sweet Alyssum 'Royal Carpet' and Wild Petunia.
Planting rate = 5-10 lbs./acre, 4 oz./1000 sq. ft.
